Editing Text


A selected block of text can be moved to a different part of the document, copied a number of times, moved to another document or permanently deleted.

The tools to do this are located under the Edit menu. They are:

It is often possible to move selected text by dragging the text to the required position in a document (not necessarily the same document), by using the mouse. To copy selected text do the same actions as described above, but hold down a control key on your keyboard e.g. Ctrl key (for Windows®) or Alt key (for Mac)
