Formatting Text


Selected text can have its appearance changed to several formats, e.g. bold, italic, underline, or any combination of these, e.g. bold-italic-underline!

The size of the text can also be changed to very large or very small.

We can also print characters above or below the normal text line. We call these characters superscript (e.g. X2) and subscript (e.g. H2O).
