Saving Your Work


Your document should be saved at regular intervals, since there could be a power cut, your PC may crash, or the network you are on could go down while you are working on it. If any of these did happen, the document you were working on would be lost forever unless you had saved it first to a floppy disk or the hard disk.

The first time you 'save' a document you will be presented with a 'Save As' dialog box as shown below:

You will need to give your document a file name and select the folder you wish to keep it in.

The next time you save the document you will only need to click on 'Save' in the File menu.
