Features of DTP - Frames (2 of 2)


Frames allow you to place text and pictures in different areas of the page. For instance, a picture in one frame can be repositioned (as shown in the illustration) and the text in the surrounding frame will reflow automatically around it. The position of the picture can be moved within a frame too.

With some DTP packages, if required, text can be repelled away from a frame's boundary or it can flow under the frame.
