The navigation panel is always present in your browser window on the far left hand side.

Unit Navigation
The navigation panel consists of buttons which allow access to the seven different units which make up the IT course; the buttons are in a vertical line.

Move your mouse over any of these buttons and the name of the unit will appear. By clicking on any of these buttons, a title page will appear in the right hand side of the browser window. This is a representation of the modules within each unit and allows the user to browse the unit of their choice.

By clicking a module name, you will access different topics which make up the module. At any point, the user can click on another unit and module via the vertical unit button. Each module on a unit title page is numbered so the user knows in which order they could be navigated by. Should you wish a more systematic approach, the user can use the Contents section. The numbers in the Contents sections follows the order of the title pages.

Functional Navigation
This consists of the group of six buttons at the bottom of the navigation panel which allows access to particular functions.

This button Exits the user from the course
This button takes the user back to the introduction page
This button takes the user to the Contents section
This button takes the user to the Search page
This button takes the user to the Help section
Clicking on the button allows narration to start. The sound will only stop by clicking again on the sound button.

General Navigation
Each of the pages within a module has a left and right arrow button in the top right hand corner. This allows the user to go backwards or forwards to the previous or next topic.

Multiple Choice
Once you are in the multiple choice section at the end of a module or unit, to navigate to the next multiple choice question the user must first answer a question; an answer appears as a tick or a cross, and an arrow will appear which you should click to move to the next question.

If you click the right arrow in the top right hand corner you will go directly to the next unit title page, omitting the rest of the questions.

Contents
This section lists a logical progression through each unit. Each unit is listed at the top of the browser window. If you click on any of these hypertext links, a systematic list of all the modules will appear. Click on any of these links to jump directly to the topic of interest.
