Internally, computers represent all information by one of two states, on or off. One on/off state is known as a Bit. Think of a simple light switch as one Bit of information. When the light is on the Bit is said to be 1. When it is off the Bit is said to be 0. Press the button below to change the state of the Bit between 1 and 0. |
