Columns are usually labelled alphabetically along the top border. When all the letters in the alphabet, A, B, C .. Z are used the column labelling continues as AA, AB, AC ..AZ, then BA, BB, BC ..BZ etc. This method of labelling the rows and columns gives you an idea of the possible size of the worksheet. At any one time only a small portion of the worksheet is visible on a computer screen. |
