There are a number of ways in which you can move around a
worksheet:
- Arrow
keys: Pressing an arrow key once
moves the cell pointer one
position in the worksheet in the direction
indicated by the arrow.
- Page
Up/Page Down keys: The Page Up and
Page Down keys are used to scroll the worksheet
up or down.
- Home
key: The home key moves you to the
first cell in the worksheet.
- End
key: The end key used with an
arrow key takes you to the final position of the
worksheet in the direction of the arrow key
chosen.
- Go to
key: Many spreadsheets have a function
key reserved as the 'goto key'. The function key
'F5' is defined as the goto key for many
spreadsheets. The goto key is pressed followed by
the address of the cell you wish to
go to.
- Mouse:
The mouse lets you point and click on the cell
you wish to select.
Spreadsheets
will also make use of scroll bars that
enable you to manipulate the worksheet in the
direction you wish to move.
